DALE COUNTY:  Midland City Fire and Pilcher's responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on US 231 at the Marathon Station in Midland City. Reports are semi verse unknown vehicle with heavy damage. One report is the vehicle is un recognizable.  Wiregrass Life Flight has been launched. Dale County Sheriff’s Office and Midland City Police also responded.

The area where the crash occurred is closed until it can be cleaned up. Rickey is responding for RSN.

The accident involved a semi truck and small pickup truck. Midland City Police was first on the scene and Midland City Fire Department. Dale County Sheriff Seputies to include Dale County Sheriff Chief Deputy Mason Bynum.

Pilcher Ambulance responded and Wiregrass Life Flight was auto launched. One patient was transported by Life Flight. The injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
