HOUSTON COUNTY: At 12:30 PM... Multiple Fire units from Lucy, Cottonwood responded to a report of a structure fire at 2995 Oscar Helms Road near the State Line. Malone Fire has been requested due to location.

Houston County Sheriff’s Office responded along with an ambulance from Cottonwood. Lucy is requesting tankers from all over Eastern Houston County...

UPDATED @ 12:46 PM...

Houston County Dispatch has just dispatched Cowarts Fire to the fire. Lucy Fire has requested tankers but the only tankers on this side of the county is Ashford, Lovetown, Pansey and Cottonwood.  Cowarts is responding.

Lucy Fire is advising to cancel all other responding units.. fire is under control. Malone Fire responded with enough water and man power to get the fire out.
