Vehicle Accident Claims a Life in Enterprise

On April 2, 2017, at 7:24 PM, the Enterprise Police Department responded to a fatal traffic accident involving a single motor vehicle.
The traffic accident occurred in the 3700 Block of Rucker Blvd Enterprise, AL. The preliminary investigation revealed that the vehicle was travelling eastbound on Rucker Blvd when it left the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver, who was the only occupant in the vehicle, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Coffee County Coroner. The driver has been identified as James Michael Farris, age 54, of Enterprise, AL.
The EPD Traffic Homicide Unit is conducting the traffic accident investigation.
