What The Angel of Hope statue means to me

One cold winter night last winter I sat in my car looking at the Angel of Hope statue from my car like I had done so many other nights. But that night was different for some reason. Very different. It was late that night and no one else was anywhere around but me and The Angel of Hope. And all of a sudden I couldn’t stop from crying. I hadn’t lost a child Thank God which is really what the Angel of Hope statue is for. So why was I crying? I sat there looking at her and I was sad because she looked lonely...all alone out there on that cold cold winter night and I wanted to keep her company.
The next day I told my daughter what had happened. She is a very bright intuitive young lady and so are my boys. She said " Daddy maybe The Angel of Hope statue was keeping you company instead. "
I’ve never forgotten that night nor have I forgotten what Mary Hannah told me. The truth is I think, that night we were keeping each other company.
I know you see me post photos of the Angel Of Hope statue a lot. She was born from a thought that came while I was sitting in my chair only 9 months ago. The Angel of Hope statue will always be a part of me and yes sometimes I get sad from wondering what will happen to her when I am gone.

I love the Angel of Hope very much and yes on many days and nights when I feel alone she comforts me and I pray that when I am gone she will be loved by so many people that a day will never come that she isn’t taken care of.
