When Is Town Of Taylor Open?

TAYLOR:    When is the Town of Taylor City Hall open? When can you go and pay traffic tickets?


This morning someone was in my office about a traffic ticket in Taylor. Now the Magistrate, Valeria Savage, thinks if you got a ticket from one of the their revenue officers AKA Police Officers, then you are a criminal. And if you missed your court date, Savage is worst than Doug Valeska, she wants the death penalty.


So this morning when the man comes in my office because he can not contact anyone at Taylor Town Hall, I called the number, 334-677-5079. I got the answering service.


Yes, the Town of Taylor pays a answering service. My question was "when is the next court date". The reply we have a note the Taylor Town Hall is closed today. Do not  understand why they have a answering service if they can not answer any simple questions.


All the while on the law enforcement radio I heard one of their "revenue officers" AKA "police officers" issuing another traffic ticket "rob money from someone's pocket order".


In reference to the Town Hall opening. Monday was a holiday so they were closed. Today is a regular off day. So that means they were open for the public only three days. And the Magistrate, playing the lottery is better odds than when she is at work.


SAVINGS


Houston County Commissioner Chairman Mark Culver started the four day work week. Culver has said that is saves money.


We have never been shown the savings and it has never been explained. All the public has seen is three and four day work weeks.


When staff has doctors appointments, those are made during the work week normally and not the Friday day off.


So please SHOW me how the four day work weeks have saved money and SHOW me the savings.


TOWN OF TAYLOR


If your revenue officers AKA police officers are going to issue papers jerking money from people's pockets, then be open for business.


The Town of Taylor followed Houston County. There is a new Mayor and Council and this practice continue.
