DOTHAN:      Dothan Police had a vehicle on East Selma Street involved in a leaving the scene of an accident. The officer went to stop the  vehicle.


The suspect refused to stop. There was a brief chase. The suspect bailed from the vehicle and ran with the officer in a foot chase around Durtch Street.  The suspect, a black male, eluded capture.


At 1:38 AM a Dothan Officer spotted the suspect between Memphis and Mobile Street in a drainage ditch. Dothan Officers apprehended the suspect.
