1 Killed in Crash with 18-Wheeler in Chilton County

Chilton County: A Selma man died Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash involving an 18-wheeler in Chilton County.


Alabama State Troopers said David Austin Banks, 29, was driving a 2010 Dodge Charger when he collided with a 2005 Peterbilt tractor-trailer. The crash happened at 12:15 p.m. on U.S. 82 at the 111 mile marker.


Trooper Jesse Thornton said Banks was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation. No other information was immediately available.
