10-year-old student arrested in Montgomery creepy clown threats

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -A 10-year-old student was arrested Wednesday in connection with the recent 'creepy clown threats'on a number of Montgomery public schools. The juvenile was arrested at an area elementary school and charged with one count of terroristic threats, according to Montgomery Police.


The announcement was made Thursday morning during a briefing to the press, where Montgomery Police Chief Ernest Finley said, "A child got caught up in the hype. We hope that, at the end of the day, when they go through the juvenile judicial process, that there is some help for that child."
