VESTAVIA HILLS, AL (WBRC) -
Authorities are now offering a reward in the search for a Missouri couple wanted in connection with a string of crimes in Alabama, including kidnapping and attempted robbery.
The Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force is offering a total of $10,000--$5,000 for each suspect--to the person who leads them to the arrest of Blake Fitzgerald and Brittany Harper, both 31.
Both suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
Arrest warrants were issued for the Joplin, MO residents for first-degree kidnapping and first-degree theft of property after a Vestavia Hills woman was kidnapped from her home in the 2400 block of Monte Vista Drive on Sunday, Jan. 31.
The homeowner told police a bald white man in his mid-30s entered his home through the garage door around 8 a.m. Sunday and said he had car trouble.
