COTTONWOOD: 10:39 AM. Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched emergency units to Cottonwood to a motor vehicle accident with injuries in Cottonwood. The accident location was Grove Street at Cottonwood Inited Methodist Church.
A car backed into the northside of Five Star Credit Union causing significant damage. The driver then apparently put in Drive going across the street and striking a tree before coming to a stop.
Two ladies were injured. The injuries were not life threatening.
Cottonwood Police, Houston County Sheriff Department, Cottonwood Volunteer Fire and Pilcher Ambulance responded.
