DOTHAN: Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Fire to 699 East Newton Street to reports of a structure fire. The time of dispatch was 11:19 AM.
Multiple Dothan Fire Engines rolled, Engine 1 ( Central ), Engine 5 ( Eastside ) and Engine 4 ( Southside ). Dothan Fire Batallion Chief Keith Gassiter was the scene commander.
A person was working on the residence. At the time of dispatch smoke was coming from the residence.
This was an active working fire. Dothan Fireman reported the fire under control by 11:38 AM.
