DOTHAN: When employees arrived at work this morning they were told that the doors were closed and wouldn't be reopening...

We were told that all Ryan's Restraints from Chattanooga to Pensacola had been shut down...

No warring of the closure or a reason.

This includes the one in Enterprise..

All employees had no notice of the closure.

They came to work and had NO jobs...

One I spoke to stated she didn't know what to do... She has two kids and this was her source of income...

What were the owners thinking?

No job.. No reason.. and NO PAY... This last picture was the notice left on the door for everyone..

H & M Venders were on site removing all the kitchen equipment.. and a U-Haul was backed up to the back door...

RYAN'S OWNERSHIP  

You should be absolutely ashamed of yourself. You had notice enough to line up someone to remove the equipment. Is your ownership so cold hearted and distant, and you cared so less for your employees, to not give them notice. Notice to get prepared for their families to live.

Are you so stupid that you do not realize these people needed a job to work in the business. Needed a job in order to support their families, pay for their meals, pay their rent and utilities.

While corporate is important to a community, let this be a lesson to government. While you pursue corporations, they could give one rat's butt less about people.

What a travesty and to the employee's, I apologize that your worked for such scum as those who owned Ryan's. That they did not care about you.
