12:15 AM... Structure Fire Reported at 600 Catalpa

DOTHAN: Multiple Dothan Fire units responded to a report of a structure fire at 600 Catalpa. This is a three apartment structure. The first unit on scene advised flames and smoke visible. Battalion 1 has command.
Firefighters battled the fire and winds but were able to get the fire out. They were able to locate two of the three families that lived in the structure. Fire Marshal is enroute.
Dothan Police responded along with an ambulance. The road the fire is located on is closed due to emergency equipment and supply line blocking the road.
Everyone is reportedly accounted for at this time. Despite best efforts by firefighters, the structure was heavily damaged by the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshal's Office.
