12:25 PM... Traffic Stop Leads to a Trip to Jail

DOTHAN: A Houston County Deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 2900 block of the Circle. The deputy asked for an ID and the passenger refused to give the deputy the proper ID.
When the deputy asked for it a second time the male subject became disorderly. The deputy called for back up but before it could arrive the deputy had to deploy his tazer to get the subject in custody.
When backup arrived they finely were able to get the subject’s currect ID, the deputy ran his name and it came back with active warrants.
The male was checked out by Dothan Firemedics and was transported to the jail for booking.
