HOUSTON COUNTY: Lovetown Fire, Cottonwood Fire and Pilcher’s responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash with entrapment on Redwing Road in Lovetown.


The driver was pend with the vehicle on top of him. Firefighter’s used extrication equipment to lift the vehicle and remove the driver. Paramedics with Pilcher’s treated the driver and he was then Airlifted to the hospital by Wiregrass Life Flight.


Houston County Sheriff’s Office also responded. The area where the crash occurred is closed until it can be cleaned up. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
