13 Year Old Struck and Killed By Vehicle In Pensacola

A 2006 Dodge station wagon was southbound on State Road 95 (U.S. Highway 29) in the left southbound lane. A 13 year old boy was running West across the southbound lanes of State Road 95. The 13 year old boy entered the path of the Dodge causing the vehicle to strike the boy. The boy was propelled forward and came to rest in the inside southbound lane of State Road 95. The boy was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, where he was prnounced deceased at 12:03 a.m. CST by Doctor Nir Hus on 9-14-2012. The boy has been identified as Jonathan Wright, 13, of Pensacola, Florida.
