Santa Rosa County, Florida:  On 01-16-13 at approximately 5:45 a.m. Santa Rosa County Emergency Units were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Quinette Road and Wallace Lake Road. The Florida Highway Patrol's crash report shows that a 2003 Toyota Corolla was traveling East on Quintte Road, West of Wallace Lake Road. A 1995 18 wheeler was traveling West on Quinette Road and slowed west of Wallace Lake Road. The 18 wheeler then attempted to make a u-turn in front of the Toyota Corolla. The 18 wheeler then slid off of the shoulder and became stuck in the tree line. The side markers on the triler were not operational and the Toyota Corolla did not see the 18 wheeler. This resulted in a collision. The driver of the Corolla, Christopher T. Johnson, 54, of Molino, Florida, was seriously injured in the crash. Johnson was transported by Lifeguard Ambulance Service to Sacred Heart hospital.
