Vantage Sourcing To Add 200 More Customer Service Associates


January 26, 2012 - Taylor, Alabama - Governor Robert Bentley announced that Vantage Sourcing in the City of Taylor, Alabama located in Houston County will add 200 more Customer Service Associates today. "I am extremely pleased to see the continued growth of Vantage Sourcing which handles inbound customer service for one of the nation's largest wireless carriers. Our investment in infrastructure and training added with strong local support of the City of Taylor, Industrial Development Board of the City of Taylor, Houston County Commission, City of Dothan, and the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce have created a positive partnership to grow business and increase employment opportunities in Southeast Alabama," commented Governor Robert Bentley.


Kim Redd, Call Center Director of Vantage Sourcing indicated that their project launch date will be in the middle of February, and with six weeks of training, they have already began the first training class. "We have already started training and will be conducting classess of 50 until we completely staff the project," indicated Redd.


Mayor Larry Whiddon, City of Taylor, indicated, " I want to thank the Governor and his staff for their tremendous support to help expand infrastructure and jobs in our community. This project is the biggest one we have ever had in our history and with this added news, it just keeps getting bigger. Thanks to all the parties that made this possible and thanks to Vantage Sourcing for their investment and work to continue their growth in our community.
