The 8th annual Tri-State BBQ Festival, held the 2nd weekend every April at the Houston County Farm Center, is again giving away a four-pack of tickets to one lucky person this week. Drawing cut off is Sunday midnight, so you still have three days to enter. You can enter through Facebook at the Tri-State BBQ Festival facebook page-  or by entering at the web site,

It’s also good to know that even if you don’t win, you can buy advance tickets through March 31, 2013 online at for just $10 each. These armbands allow you to come and go both Friday April 12th and Saturday April 13th as you please. We felt like that was an affordable price for a great family event--- so cheep in fact that you don’t have to pack your own lunch in a cooler and bring it- you can actually afford to eat some fine BBQ and drink cold drinks without lugging a cooler around or paying someone to allow you to drag in a peanutbutter sandwich. :-P

Great regional and local entertainment both days and nights, fantastic food, FREE inflatables for the kids to play on, free activities and cooking demos all weekend, car show on Saturday and free BBQ samples from 2:30- 4 on Saturday afternoon. Lots to do at the tastiest festival in town! Click through to win tickets or learn more!
