3 Vehicle Crash Leaves 2 In Critical One In Serious

A 2005 Mercedes was traveling eastbound on State Road 30, within the eastbound lane. A 2011 Ford truck was attempting to make a left turn from Santa Rosa Blvd. onto westbound State Road 30, within the left, left turn lane. A 2004 Ford truck was attempting to make a left from Santa Rosa Blvd. onto westbound State Road 30, within the right, left turn lane. As the 2005 Mercedes approached the intersection, it failed to stop for the red traffic signal which governed both East and westbound lanes of State Road 30.
The Mercedes continued in an easterly direction within the intersection, striking the left front of the 2011 Ford truck, then the left rear of the 2004 Ford truck. The Mercedes came to final rest East of the intersection facing South. The 2011 Ford truck overturned coming to final rest on it’s passengers side facing South. The 2004 Ford truck rotated 180 Degrees coming to final rest facing South within the intersection. Charges are pending completion of the investigation of this crash. This crash is under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
The driver of the Mercedes, Raliek Q. Boswell, Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, was Critically Injured in the crash and was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. The driver of the 2011 Ford truck, Ronda Howard, 54, Carrollton, Georgia, was Seriously Injured and was trasnported to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. The passenger of the 2011 Ford truck, Ottis Howard, 56, Carrollton, Georgia, was Critically injured and was transported to Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. The driver of the 2004 Ford escaped the crash with minor injuries.
