MARIANNA, FL – Fall is in the air…crisp cool mornings, leaves on trees are beginning their transformation to autumn colors and people from throughout the Florida Panhandle will converge at Sunland Center this weekend for the 37th Annual Sunland Fall Festival. The annual festival always takes place the last Saturday of October and is held in the scenic Sunland Environmental Park. Sunland is located on Highway 71 north of Marianna. Activities will begin with a huge kick-off parade at 9:00 am, with the day’s festivities concluding around 3:00 pm. In addition to a parade, the festival features a multitude of activities for all ages. Numerous artisans are on hand with a variety of items for sale, including a wide variety of tantalizing food vendors to make sure no one leaves hungry!
A host of fun-filled events will include musical entertainment on three different stages located throughout the Park, old-fashioned cane grinding, horse drawn wagon rides and children’s pony rides. Goblins and ghosts will be lurking at the haunted house, waiting to offer a “friendly Halloween fright” to unsuspecting visitors. Returning this year will be B & B Entertainment, featuring a host of activities for kids including a mechanical bull, a zip line, climbing maze, multiple inflatable jump houses, train ride, Spider Mountain, Wipe Out, and the Wrecking Ball.
Make plans to celebrate the arrival of Fall at Sunland’s Annual Fall Festival!!
