4th Annual Rim Shaker Classic Tournament Winners

The Enterprise Thunder Travel Basketball Team won first place in the 4th Annual Rim Shaker Classic Tournament in Prattville/Millbrook, AL. The final score was 51-50 with Thunder with Thunder taking the win for the championship! Carson Cavelier took the score from 48-50 to 51 to 50 due to a 3 pointer at Wetumpka.

As usual first I give praise to the most high for allowing me to see another day. Another weekend is in the books and even though it wasn’t a rest and relax weekend it indeed was a great weekend. These young men displayed again why I love dedicating my time trying to mentor each one of them . Congrats to our 9th grade team for being 3 time Rimshaker Knights Champions. Since 7th grade they have played hard and won this tournament and it couldn’t have ended in a better way.

Our 6th grade Thunder team fought even harder because they were outsized to finish in 2nd place in their division. Overall Thunder had a good showing at the tournament winning 4 trophies! Congrats to all our Thunder teams.

Lastly, I am proud of these young men because of the compliments they received over the course of the weekend about being respectful and how we conduct ourselves. It just goes to show how God truly is working for our good. Until next week’s challenge Thunder.........................Boom

The Thunder Team will be competing in the upcoming Gulf Coast Challenge in Gulf Shores, AL, 4th Thunder Showdown (Sponsored by the Thunder Team), Elite 32 Sessions 11 in Atlanta, GA, and Power 24 in Atlanta, GA.

I am very proud of these young men and believe they are representatives of our community and deserve recognition. Even though my son Xander O’Connell was not able to attend due to illness, we cheered them on from afar thanks to modern day technology.

These are some comments that I have taken and compiled about our team. Please let me know what else you need to get these young players some recognition. You did an article last year and told me to notify you again. So here are a few details. If you need more information, please let me know. I am positive the coach would love to speak with you.
