5:00 AM... Firearm Assault in Rehobeth

HOUSTON COUNTY: Around 4:00 AM Houston County Deputies responded to a report of a firearm assault at 220 Rehobeth Way. Reports are female shot in the foot. The female victim was transported to the hospital by Rehobeth Rescue. Investigators responded to collect evidence and question all involved.
Deputies responded to a domestic call at this same location on Monday where two males were arrested.
UPDATED @ 6:48 AM.
The initial call was someone shot through the window and the gunshot struck a older female in the ankle. Reports are the older son was asleep on the couch and his mother was in the bedroom when the shot came through the window and shot the female in the ankle.
At this time Houston County Sheriff Criminal Investigator Adam Zey is in charge of the investigation. Investigator Zey went to SAMC and then to the scene. Houston County Sheriff Deputy Givens and Captain Rafferty are on the scene.
Several scenarios can fit on this case so investigators are working on the facts to determine exactly what happened.
The injuries are not life threatening.
