DOTHAN: At 5:00 AM ... Dothan Fire and Dothan Police responded to a report of a person struck by a vehicle on the Circle near Blissett Drive. When Fire arrived the checked the victim and confirmed they were deceased.
Dothan Police Crash Team has been called out to investigate the accident. The name and photos are being with held pending notification of next of kin.

On October 14th at 4:50 am, Dothan Police responded to a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian in the 1800 block of Ross Clark Circle. Police units arrived and it was determined that a single axle box truck was travelling East on Ross Clark Circle. The pedestrian was travelling West on Ross Clark Circle in the Eastbound lane. The truck collided with the pedestrian. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene by Houston County Coroner, Robert Byrd. The victim has been identified as a Dothan resident. The name will be released at a later time pending family notifications.
