5:32 AM... Structure Fire on Dixie Drive

DOTHAN: Multiple Dothan Fire units responded to a report of a structure fire at 706 Dixie Drive. The first unit on scene advised smoke visible. Reports are the fire is out. however when units got inside they found fire had gotten into the wall. Firefighters were able to locate and put out the fire before it got out of control.
Battalion 1 has command. Dothan Police responded along with an ambulance. The road the fire is located on is closed due to emergency equipment and supply line blocking the road.
The cause of the fire is not known, the Fire Marshal is on scene starting his investigation.
