6:38 PM... Single Vehicle Accident on Hwy 109 at Skipper Road

HOUSTON COUNTY: Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash with fire at Hwy 109 and Skipper Road. Two people were transported by ambulance to the hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire. Houston County Sheriff’s Office also responded. The area where the crash occurred is closed until it can be cleaned up. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
