DOTHAN: 6:48 PM. Dothan Fire on scene of LaVista Trailer Park with reports of a structure fire.
On the arrival of the first fire engine it was reported as active structure fire with a offensive attack.
Within a short period of time "local" people who are members of Dothan Fire Department had the fire under control. A Dothan Fire Marshall was requested to respond.
NOTE: Again one of the "locals" who is a member of Dothan Fire Department that was on the scene risking his life to save people, their homes and belongings was one of the applicants for Dothan - Houston County Emergency Management Director.
But the 5 Houston County CommissionerS passed up everyone from Dothan - Houston County for interviews except for one person.
The 5 Houston County Commissioners even interviewed one from out of town who was fired from his job and submitted two applications, one under the first name of William and one under the first name of Billy.
But locals were not good enough for the 5 Houston County commissioners.
Thank you to the Dothan Fireman for risking your life to save property and life while the County Commissioners were drinking their wine.
