7:03 PM. Hodgesville Road Accident - Vehicle Flipped - Cause of Accident Left The Scene

DOTHAN: At 7:03 PM Dothan 911 dispatched a motor vehicle accident with injuries, a blue Nissan Pathfinder upside down. Dothan Police - Dothan Fire - Pilcher Ambulance responded.
When emergency units arrived they found a female patient still in the upside down vehicle and her husband was able to exit the vehicle. The couple literally was hanging upside down strapped with their seat belts on when the vehicle came to rest upside down.
The Pathfinder was northbound on Hodgesville Road. As they came through the green light, a west bound vehicle on East Saunders Road went to turn north through the turn lane and failed to yield to the north bound vehicle. The person responsible for the accident left the scene.
Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance transported the husband and wife to Flowers Hospital where they were checked and released.
At 8:11 PM Dothan Police were on the scene of Rock Creek Apartments. The driver of the vehicle that caused this accident was in the parking lot and the driver was passed out. When he was woke up he complained of a broken rib. Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance were called to the scene to check his injuries.
The subject will face criminal charges.
Dothan Police investigated the accident.
