72-Hour Hearing Docket For Houston County District Court Judge Benjamin Lewis


 


HOUSTON COUNTY:  The 72 hour hearing docket for Houston County District Court Judge Benjamin Lewis.




Persons in custody of Houston County Sheriff Andy Hughes for 72 hours since the arrest and have not made bond are required to appear before a Judge. The purpose of the hearing is to make the person in custody aware of what he or she is charged with, their bonds, and certain rights.




Judge Lewis conducts these hearings Monday through Friday at 8:30 AM by the way of closed circuit TV from the jail to the second floor courtroom. On holidays Judge Lewis conducts the hearings at the Houston County Jail.
