8:42 AM. Edged Weapon Assault Suspect Apprehended By Dothan Police

DOTHAN:     8:42 AM.   In rapid movements by Dothan Police Sgt. Jason Weed and Dothan Police Officers the suspect was identified quickly.

Multiple Dothan Police Officers began gathering intelligence information from the scene, then tracking that information.

Multiple Dothan Officers hit two houses finding her at the West Selma Street house.

As Dothan Officers gathered more information Officers identified as a possible location at 957 West Selma Street.

Multiple Officers hit the house. A car matching the description was in the driveway. 

Dothan Officers took into custody the primary suspect, Landis Strickland. A second white female was also taken into custody on West Selma Street.

Multiple Dothan Police Officers and Criminal Investigators are called out to investigate. At this time this case is a Assault but the victim is critical.
