DOTHAN: 9:08 AM This was not that big of a deal, until...
Dothan Fire responded to the 600 block of North Oates Street to the HOBO Pantry ( Chevron ). Two Dothan Police cars, one Dothan Fire Truck and one Dothan Batallion Chief responded to the HOBO Pantry. The report was a car spilled 10 - 15 gallons of gas.
THE REASON I WENT THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE
I went to this call to show something. And it really had nothing to do with HOBO Pantry. One, why was there a Dothan Fire Engine, Dothan Batallion Chief, and two Dothan Police units there? And the reason was 10 - 15 gallons of gas.
But a couple of weeks ago the City of Dothan loss over 5,000 gallons of diesel fuel at the City Shop. That was kept under the radar. The media did not know it until days later.
So if spilling 10 - 15 gallons of gas caused this response, what would have 5,000 gallons of diesel fuel caused, if it were the public and not the government?
