9:16 PM. Serious Critical Accident Dispatched Highway 84 East In Cowarts

COWARTS: 9:18 PM. Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched a serious critical motor vehicle accident, a Highway 84 East in front of All Metal Roofing near Ronnie's Men and Boy's.
The accident was on the west bound side of Highway 84 just west past the intersection.
Reports to the 911 Center were a power pole broken with dangling power lines and a 20 year old female was trapped under the vehicle. The 911 Center information given to responding units was by standees attempting to lift the vehicle off the female.
AND THE EMERGENCY UNITS ROLLED INTO IMMEDIATE ACTION.
As units were rolling the Sheriff 911 Center was rolling Alabama Power. Responding to the accident, Cowarts Volunteer Fire, Ashford Fire, Ashford a Rescue, Houston County Sheriff Deputies, ALEA - Troopers. Dothan Fire was in process of mutual aid.
When the first units arrived the female was not trapped and injuries were non life threatening.
Alabama Powers was called to repair the pole. The female was transported to SAMC.
It was a one vehicle accident that left the side of the road and struck a utility pole.
