9:30 PM... Assault in Progress on Oscar Godwin Road

HOUSTON COUNTY: Houston County Sheriff Deputies responded to a report of an assault in progress call on Oscar Godwin Road. When the first unit arrived he advised that the call was upgraded to an Edged Weapon Assault Call.
More deputies responded along with Rehobeth Rescue. The suspect fled just before the first deputy arrived and ran off into a wooded area behind the home.
One female did go to jail due to being stupid and assaulting the female victim. She was charged with harassment and transported to the Houston County Jail.
The victim refused treatment and was very uncooperative with EMT’s and Deputies.
