A Longtime Deputy and Friend Says Good Bye

HOUSTON COUNTY: This afternoon surrounded by friends and family Ladon Joyner says good bye.  Lt. Joyner is retiring after serving 32 years as a Houston County Deputy Sheriff.


Joiner started out as a patrol deputy and worked his way up through the ranks until he made Lieutenant. Joyner has served as 1st Squad supervisor for several years and says he has no regrets.  


This afternoon, Sheriff Valenza presented Joyner with an award celebrating his 32 years of service.
