A Single-vehicle Crash Claimed the Life of Mandeville La Woman

EVERGREEN POST – A single-vehicle crash today, Nov. 24, claimed the life of a Mandeville, La., woman and injured two others.  Charlotte P. Myers, 82, was killed when the 2004 Ford F-150 in which she was a passenger left the roadway and struck a tree. Myers was pronounced dead at the scene by Conecuh County Coroner Mike Lambert.  The driver, Lanice A. Bonds, 62, of Daleville and 75-year-old passenger Clifford Myers, also from Mandeville, La., were transported to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.  The crash occurred at 9:36 a.m. on U.S. 84 at the 109 mile marker, 10 miles east of Evergreen. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
