ABC Board Currently Hold Hearing to Discuss VictoryLand Liquor License

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board is currently meeting to discuss VictoryLand's contested liquor license.

VictoryLand re-applied for a liquor license earlier this year after it suspended its own license several years ago in an attempt to block a raid on the gaming facility.

Attorney General Luther Strange filed an 89 page protest claiming that VictoryLand "has a history of violating Alabama's laws against illegal gambling" and therefore should not be granted a license.
