After One and a Half Years HUNT’S Restaurant Stolen Concession Trailer Recovered

DOTHAN - OKALOOSA COUNTY FL:   After one and a half years Hunt’s Restaurant might see their stolen concession trailer again.

About one and a half years ago Tim Reeves of Hunt’s Restaurant in Dothan found his concession trailer stolen. A concession trailer valued well over $ 50,000.00 completely equipped with fry cookers, grills, exhaust hoods and more.

The theft was reported to Dothan Police Department.

Since that time Tim has heard nothing.

This past week Tim was contacted by Okaloosa County Flordia Sheriff Deputies. The trailer was found in a storage building in Okaloosa County Florida. There had been attempts to paint over the Hunt’s logo but they were unable to and it faded through the paint. The person alleged to have stolen it put a sheet of plywood over the Hunt’s logo.

The find was because the person alleged to have stolen the trailer did not pay the rent on his storage building. The landlords cut the look from the door and found the trailer inside. They became suspicious and contact the Okaloosa County Sheriff Department. They in turn contacted Tim Reeves.

The Suspect

We have no official word from Criminal Investigation Division of Dothan Police Department over the recovery by Okaloosa County Sheriff Department. We have been given a suspect name. We can not find him currently in the Okaloosa County Jail, Dothan City Jail or Houston County Jail.

We did search the name through the Houston County Court system and Okaloosa County Jail for arrests. We will not disclose the name until we receive it officially, but “if” this is the suspect, the following is the arrest history.
