AG mum on criminal investigation around Gov. Bentley scandal, but signs point to 'yes'

The Alabama Attorney General is staying quiet on the possibility of a criminal investigation into Gov. Robert Bentley's relationship with former advisor Rebekah Mason, as well as allegations of wrong doing by the director of the state's top law enforcement agency.
However, sources close to the matter indicate investigations are under way in connection to Bentley's possible misuse of office, specifically if personnel from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency or the Governor's office were used to cover up or assist in Bentley and Mason's personal relationship.
