Alabama Department of Transportation and the City of Dothan Begin Construction on the North Oates Street Sidewalk Improvements

Dothan, AL – The City of Dothan is pleased to announce the start of construction on the improvements to the existing sidewalks along North Oates Street from the Troy Street intersection north to the Newton Street intersection.  The work is scheduled to begin Monday, February 16, 2015.  To successfully complete the work, lane closures will be required throughout the duration of the project.  Residents are advised to use caution through the construction zones and to follow the directions given by flaggers and all other traffic control devices.
