Ozark, Ala.- An Alabama Department of Transportation resurfacing project on Alabama Highway 167 from north of Alabama Highway 123 in Hartford to the Dale County line will begin on Monday, weather permitting.

Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the construction zone and expect delays as there will be lane closures throughout the project.

The $1,671,378.71 contract was awarded to Midsouth Paving, Inc., out of Birmingham, who had the lowest bid that met project requirements.

ALDOT’s mission is to provide a safe, efficient, environmentally sound transportation network across Alabama.  For further information, visit www.dot.state.al.us.
