Alabama Highway 52 resurfacing begins Monday

Hartford, Ala.- An Alabama Department of Transportation resurfacing project on Alabama Highway 52 from the intersection of Alabama Highway 167 to the intersection of County Road 69 in Hartford, will begin Monday, weather permitting. 


 


The project will consist of planing, resurfacing, and traffic striping. 


 


Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the construction zone and expect delays as there will be lane closures throughout the project. 


 


The $713,449.71 contract was awarded to Wiregrass Construction Company, Inc., out of Dothan, Ala., who had the lowest bid that met project requirements.
