Alabama Highway 92 resurfacing begins Wednesday

Ozark, Ala.- An Alabama Department of Transportation project on Alabama Highway 92 will begin Wednesday, July 27, weather permitting.
The project will consist of safety widening, resurfacing, and traffic striping on Alabama Highway 92 from the intersection of Alabama Highway 167 in Coffee County to the intersection of US Highway 84 in Houston County.
Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the construction zone and expect delays as there will be lane closures throughout the project.
ALDOT awarded the project to Wiregrass Construction Company, Inc., out of Dothan, who had the lowest bid that met project requirements, at a cost of $1,634,641.22 with 40 working days.
