Alabama Kidney Foundation Presents Senator Harri Anne Smith With It's Legislative Champion Award

MONTGOMERY:     Today in Montgomery Alabama The Alabama Kidney FOundation presented District 29 Alabama Senator Harri Anne Smith with it's Legislative Champion Award.

The ( AKF ) applaud's Senator Smith for her strong leadership, her foresight, and her thoughtful decisions.

The AKF is Alabama's only state based nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting kidney patients. The AKF is a beacon of hope to thousands of kidney patients from the State of Alabama.

Through an appropriation from the State of Alabama, the AKF is able to help thousands of indigent kidney patients with treatment related transportation costs.

The AKF thanks Senator Smith for being a real champion for Alabama's kidney patients. And thanks for making such a tremendous impact in Fiscal Year 2016 - 2017.
