Alabama man featured on 'America's Most Wanted' sentenced in 1991 New York murder

A judge in New York has sentenced an Alabama resident to prison for shooting a man in the face outside a New Year's Eve party in 1991.
Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson says 55-year-old Derrick Lloyd of Montgomery was sentenced Wednesday. He got 23 years to life.
He was convicted of second-degree murder in March.
