Alabama mother arrested, accused of beating child with extension cord

A Dothan mother is accused of beating her 11-year-old son with an extension cord and causing multiple injuries 


Tramessa Curry, 29, was arrested on Thursday and charged with willful abuse of a child, court records show. She was released from the Houston County Jail after posting $15,000 bond.


Dothan police Sgt. Lynn Watkins said the alleged crime was reported to police by the child's school after he showed up to class with multiple injuries.
