Alabama Schools get their Report Cards and Rankings

Believe it or not, we're almost halfway through the 2015-2016 school year. That makes it as good as a time as any to get a report card on how things are going around Alabama.


Niche a website that provides rankings and reviews of schools throughout the U.S., recently issued its latest lists of the best high school, middle schools and elementary schools in Alabama. All the rankings below are for public schools - we will look at private schools next week.


First, let's look at Alabama's high schools. The high school rankings were determined based on statistics (including test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores and teacher quality) and student and parent reviews.
