HENRY COUNTY: This evening Alabama State Trooper Tim Suggs was traveling north bound on Highway 431 North just inside Henry County from Houston County.
There was a maroon mustang in the outside lane with no lights on. The vehicle was in the lane of traffic.
Trooper Suggs, when he saw the dark colored vehicle in the roadway with no lights on, immediately went to the left. The right rear of Trooper Suggs Trooper Tahoe struck the left rear of the Mustang.
One person in the MustanG complained of neck pain.
Probably Trooper Suggs quick reaction saved four people in the vehicle, in the roadway with no light, from serious physical injury or death.
The people in the Mustang admitted to me they were in the roadway with no lights due to thier car loosing power.
Headland Police were on the scene. Alabama State Trooper Cpl. Tracy McCord investigated the accident.
