Dothan, Ala.- An Alabama Department of Transportation project began Monday in multiple locations.
The bridge painting project will take place on nine different bridges in Geneva, Dale, Covington, Barbour, Henry, and Houston counties.
There will be intermittent partial lane closures throughout the project. Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the construction zone.
The $593,636.00 contract was awarded to Seminole Equipment, Inc., out of Tarpon Springs, Fla., who had the lowest bid that met project requirements. The contract allows for 90 working days.
