Alford man Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges

On 6-15-16 at approximately 12:35 pm The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a possible retail theft in progress at Walmart. The suspect, Albert “Alpo” Newton Brincefield, was known to management after being trespassed from the store and related property on May 26th of this year.
Brincefield attempted to elude capture by changing his avenue of egress several times before finally exiting the store. He was observed leaving the store by a Deputy posted in front of the building. He then walked off of the property to the rear of the Pilot Truck Stop, even though his ride was waiting for him in front of the garden center.
He was arrested for trespassing after a warning and taken to the Jackson County Correctional Facility. A subsequent inventory search of his belongings revealed a small amount of methamphetamines and marijuana along with a pair of surgical hemostats containing marijuana residue and two cut straws with methamphetamine residue inside.
Brincefield was charged with: Trespassing

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
