On 8-03-14 at approximately 0210 hours, a deputy from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was on routine patrol and was checking the Peacock Bridge boat landing. Upon checking the parking lot, the deputies observed a beige Pontiac van sitting in the parking lot running with the lights.
Upon making contact with the driver and identifying him by his Florida Driver’s License, it was learned that his license had been suspended for a couple of months. The driver was secured in the patrol unit and an inventory of the vehicle was completed.
Upon inventorying the vehicle, the deputies located a small glass container in the glove compartment that contained suspected methamphetamine, a small plastic bag containing suspected loose marijuana and a partially smoked cigarette that contained suspected marijuana.
The driver was charged with the following offenses:
Arrested: Grayson Wade Tucker, 46 years old
Charges: Driving While License Suspended with knowledge
Possession of Marijuana
Possession of Methamphetamine
